Complete Blogger SEO Setting
I will show all settings on Blogger. Every blogger setting will help you to customize your blog.
Carefully follow my tutorial to implement on your blog on the Blogger platform.
In the title section, you have to give a proper title that will show in Search Engine result for the homepage.
As you are seeing the above photo where I have marked the title of DIGIBUSK which is showing in the Google search engine.
You should give an attractive title for your blog in the section that is related to your keyword.
As you have seen the “Title” section, the Description is also the same as I marked the meta description of DIGIBUSK’s homepage.
You should write a proper description of your blog. Keep in mind that this description is the meta description of your blog’s homepage.
In the description, always focus on the targeted keyword but don’t spam anytime. Only write a proper description with keywords.
There are 40+ languages in the section.
You may choose one of these languages from the blogger setting which you want to use for the blog.
If your blog has any type of adult content then you should enable the option for your visitors to give a warning message before accessing your blog. When you enable the option, a message will appear to the visitors as you can see below.
You should use this if you are sharing any adult content. Read more about Google’s adult content policy to know more.
You have to learn all the blogger settings properly to avoid any mistakes.
Google Analytics Property ID
Google analytics shows visitors to a website. Also, it shows tracking pieces of information, popular pages, keywords that are using, behavior, bounce rate, traffic from which country or city, device information (desktop, tablet or mobile), etc.
That’s why Google Analytics takes the major role to track a website to see the user’s behavior.
In the setting, you will see a section like the above picture. Just put the Google Analytics Property ID in the box to connect your blog with Google Analytics.
Create a Google Analytics account and go to the analytics dashboard. Then you will find the “Admin” option from the left sidebar. Click on Admin > Property > Property Setting to find the Google Analytics property ID.
Copy the ID and paste in the box on the Blogger. This is a very important blogger SEO setting to see detailed analytics of your blog.
You can upload the favicon of your blog through this blogger setting. But the favicon should be a square image that is under 100KB in size.
If you don’t know about favicon, read about favicon.
These settings are the basic blogger SEO setting. Now let’s move on to another section.
Visible to search engines
This privacy setting is only for the blog that your blog will be visible to any search engine or not. I think you want.
Enable the option always.
But if you want to make it private, disable the option for not to visible any search engine.
You may change the blog address with a unique name before the blogspot.com. Choose a unique name for your blog.
If your unique blog is “example” then the blog address will be “example.blogspot.com”. In the above picture, I have shown that my blog address is jantyforyou.blogspot.com.
If you already purchased a domain name and want to add the custom domain name to the blog, you may add a custom domain name to Blogger easily from the section.
There is also another option to redirect the domain with “www”. Like my domain, jantyghosh.com will be www.jantyghosh.com.
It is very important to use www before a domain if you don’t use any subdomain. That’s why always enable the option if you are not using any subdomain.
HTTPS means Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure.
I think you have seen most of the sites use https for the web address with a green padlock. Google loves HTTPS, you should use always for your blog.
You may enable HTTPS availability for your blog and enable the redirect HTTPS option to make your blog site secure.
This is the most important SEO setting for Blogger.
This is not a Blogger SEO setting but I am showing all of these as I have said before.
In the “Blog admins and authors” section, you will see the admin and authors list of your blog. From the section, you can change the permission of a user.
When you will invite a user as an author, you will see the list of them before their acceptance to become an author of your blog.
You can invite others to become an author of the blog from the “Invite more authors” section.
Thereafter, you will see the “Reader access” option to set your blog as Public, Private to authors, or Custom readers as like below picture from Blogger settings.
The “Custom readers” option will be active when you will set your blog for only custom readers.
You can also see the readers whom you have sent the invitation to be readers for your blog but still not accepted the invitation. From the “Invite more readers” section, you can invite more readers.

It is not essential, and you may leave the section.

You can publish or draft your post through email service. You may also invite more people for comments notifications and posts notifications.
The section is for the only time and date format. You can change the date and time format that will show in the above of any post and comment. I always use one form for this to all sections.
Because it looks very fantastic to be in the same format, you may change as you want.
10. Meta tags
The meta tags are the central part of the Blogger SEO setting. You need to keep attention to the section for Search Engine Optimization of your blog correctly.
After enabling the “Enable search description”, you will get a search description option where you may add a meta description of your blog homepage.

As an example, your blog has www.example.com/old/ page but you have deleted for any kind of reason and write or create a new page related to the old content by www.example.com/new/.
At the moment if you redirect www.example.com/old/ to www.example.com/new/ then your existing users will be jumped into the new page. Also where you have shared the old URL, users will be redirected to the new URL by clicking the old URL.
